2nd Clinic of Ophthalmology

The 2nd Clinic of Ophthalmology is a modern Ophthalmology unit, which aims to provide effective clinical and surgical treatment of our patients’ ocular conditions. Our philosophy is to focus on people and to serve our fellow citizens through the provision of high-standard healthcare services.

Since 2005, the clinic has also been operating as a Corneal Transplantation Unit, as it holds the required license to function as a Transplantation Unit.

The Cornea Department is staffed by Mrs. Sotiria Alimisi and Mrs. Anastasia Stefanou, ophthalmologists surgeons specialized in corneal surgery with extensive experience in transplantation.

The clinic performs the most advanced surgical techniques of full or partial thickness corneal transplantation (PKP/DALK, DSAEK, DMEK) depending on the underlying condition of each patient.

In the Glaucoma department, services are provided by appointment by Mr. Delvenakiotis Athanasios, an ophthalmologist surgeon and external associate of our clinic, who specializes in glaucoma surgery.
